Turning an Image-Only Pharmacy Website Into a Real, Searchable Site

02[ Become searchable ]

A Website Google Couldn't Read

A Multi-Branch Pharmacy Chain Nobody Could Find Online

A pharmacy chain with several branches across Cebu City, plus one in Davao, came to us with a website that looked fine but wasn’t actually working. The whole thing was built out of images — every page, every bit of text, baked directly into picture files instead of real content.

That’s a bigger problem than it sounds. Search engines can’t read text inside an image, so as far as Google was concerned, the site was basically empty. It wasn’t responsive either, so most visitors browsing on their phones got a broken experience. On top of that, the chain’s Google Maps listings were inconsistent across branches — which matters a lot for a business that depends on people finding the nearest store on foot.

03[ What we built ]

Rebuilt to actually be found

Real content, real speed, real local search

Rebuilt on KYBOS, not a template

A ground-up rebuild using Kybos, our own theme, so the client's team could update content without needing a developer every time.

Every page turned into real, structured text

Since the old site was built entirely from images, this wasn't restyling — every page had to be reconstructed as searchable, structured content from scratch.

Fast despite the full redesign

Paired with Tailwind CSS to keep the rebuilt site fast, even with everything reconstructed from the ground up.

Cleaned up, branch by branch

Every branch's Google Maps listing reviewed and corrected, fixing inconsistencies and improving how each location showed up in local search.

04[ Result ]

The result

Findable, finally

The chain’s pages became real, structured, indexable content instead of static images — readable by Google, and usable on a phone, tablet or desktop instead of just a desktop browser. Every branch’s local listing was corrected and made consistent, so each store showed up properly in the searches that actually drive people through the door.

A website that looks fine but that Google can’t read isn’t a design problem — it’s an invisible one. Fixing it meant rebuilding the whole thing as real content rather than restyling what was already there.
